Downloadable Upgrades

Version 2.2.11
Resolves the Following Issues:
-Added a session recovery interface located in Admin ? System ? Previous Sessions (Show Details). This section will allow for burning any previously recorded session straight to disk.
-Corrected inconsistant coloring on the Session Summary screen.

Version 2.2.10
Resolves the Following Issues:
Enhanced DVD Autorun.

Version 2.2.9
- Resolves the Following Issues:

- Added logging viewable from the Windows Event Log. The events are viewable from: Control Panel ? Administrative Tools ? Event Viewer ? Application.
- If the recording level is different from expected at session start, the value is logged (Windows Event Log) and corrected.
- On the site info configuration screen, typing an invalid character for Site Name or Room Number displays a messages indicating that the character is invalid. Previously, the invalid character simply were not added, implying a bug to the user.

Version 2.2.8
Resolves the Following Issues:
- The DVDs contain an .hta that will autorun on insertion that has an option for codec installation.
- The .avi?s audio is changed from 48KHz to 22KHz to reduced file size. 48KHz is overkill while 22KHz is sufficient quality. The reduced .avi file size also more than halves the CD writing time.
- There was a glitch where when returning to the main screen from changing the video resolution, the settings screen would freeze over the main screen for a few seconds.
- Fixed the alignment of the video window when it is minimized (e.g., summary screen).

Version 2.2.7
Resolves the Following Issues:
Fixed an issue where one of the disks in a two-disk session would report ?invalid? when preparing for writing.

Version 2.2.6
Resolves the Following Issues:
- Fixed A/V synch issue by changing how the resources are registered in the installer such that Interrogator will use the correct resource versions.

Version 2.2.5
Resolves the Following Issues:
- Reverted primary font and text size on buttons.
- Added a flashing red dot next to the recording status message.
- Fixed an issue where the file time/size setting was not being preserved correctly such that the change would not apply until rereading the value. E.g., files set to 60 minutes would record as 30 minutes unless you reenter the settings screen after setting the value.
- The hue of the text color was changed from 195 (azure-cyan) to 185 (cyan) and the VU Meter?s color was made to match this.

Version 2.2.4
Resolves the Following Issues:
- Fixed an issue where upgrading would cause a crash on application load until the machine is reset. The new fonts, while being added to the correct location were not being registered correctly ? due to this registration issue, when looking for the fonts, it would fail to find them. The fix correctly registers the fonts on upgrade ? no reset neccesary.

Version 2.2.3
Resolves the Following Issues:
- Fixed a bug where the non-marker events had a minute grandularity instead of a second grandularity.
- Fixed a bug where input focus would not be on the textbox for the Marker screen on any visit beyond the first.
- There was a problem where users questioned if anything actually goes on when the files are recording ? this is, dispite blinking text that says recording. This led to the idea that users only really look at the left-hand disk statuses for any status. To reassure users of activity while remaining accurate, we changed the recording status such that the CD spins and says SPOOLING while the video records prior to actual writing. Also, the recording status is now only in red instead of blinking.

Version 2.2.2
Resolves the Following Issues:
- Text overlay
* Fixed text overlay such that it switches between black and white with a contrasting shadow color.
* Fixed a bug that made the text always black when reopening the program or switching video resolutions.
* Fixed a bug where text color can only be selected when shadow is enabled.
- Changed Change Password to Change User Password.
- Made all OK buttons consistant by changing text to OK (various buttons were using various forms of okay.
- Corrected the password form to auto-focus on the text box. Previously, it was only focusing the initial time that the form was loaded.
- Manual file deletion was failing to delete. This was caused by a bug that targeted nothing instead of the correct folder path.
- Corrected issue where the screen would freeze before writing session files to Dvd. This is due to problem last version where the session data does not appear right away. The fix here is to offload the hashing to a background thread so that it does not hold-up the UI message pump on the main thread.

Version 2.2.1
Resolves the Following Issues:
- Differentiates a closed disk from other invalid disks.
- The summary data on finishing a session does not appear right away. The pause is directly correlated to the size of the session. The pause was due to the screen not updating until after the hash files are generated ? big files take awhile to generate thier hashes. Changed to update the screen prior to hash generation.

Version 2.2.0
Resolves the Following Issues:
- Fixed a bug where changing the admin password does not take until Interrogator is restarted.
- Fixed a bug where the program would hang if the keyboard is used on the network screen under dynamic mode.
* The hang would occur when using SendKeys without a selectable control (all input controls are disabled in dynamic mode).
- Fixed a bug where in session setup the Previous button is disabled in the Subject step (step 2) until text is entered.
- Skips admin password prompt if admin password is empty.
- UI tweaks.
* Add new Shade Buttons.
* Make groups more distinct (different font/color).
* Improved consistancy (font/color/alignment).
* Changed to cleaner fonts (Microsoft Sans Serif ? Segoe UI/Cambria).
* Changed to nicer colors.
* Use better images/icons (there where ones that look 16-bit).
* Update Upgrader program to be consistant with new look.
* Make text proper case (before many were all caps).
- Cleaned out unused resources (images).
* Results in a smaller program size.
- Removed Debug?Msg settings option. It previous outputed some error information to test.log ? almost every other error message already gets tracked to Err.log. I now have the old Msg enabled message logged to Err.log whenever it occurs.
-Audio and text log file names are now consistant with the video name.

Version 2.1.15
Resolves the Following Issues:
- AVI and wav volumes are balanced.
* VU is more accurate.
* The way that the recording volume scales is settable via the settings Recording?RecordFactor and Recording?RecordOffset.
- Skips password prompt if password is empty.
- Deinterlace filter added to avoid movement lines.
* Original issue only seems to appear on 640x480 resolution, so this isn?t added to the 320x240 mode.
- GUI controls
* Shadow text ? less transparency artifacts and better resource management.
* Added new marquee to the splash screen.
- Disks are closed when written.
* Multisession can be enabled by setting Recording?CloseDisk=false in the .ini.
- Cleaned out some obsolete setting options.
- Added event tracing which can be enabled by setting Debug?Tracing=true in the .ini.
- This will create a trace.log file. Currently the only thing traced are initialization and volume settings changes.
- Added a disk status for when the disk is being inserted, but is not ready yet labelled Inserting.
- Splash screen timing corrected. Previously, it stayed up a set amount of time and then initializes the main form ? now it initializes while the splash is up and the splash comes down right after initialization is done.
- Disk 1 and disk 2 had different completed status texts ? corrected.
